Synopsis: Care of the perioperative patient is shifting towards more precise and individualized management especially in the high-risk patient with multiple comorbidities. Haemodynamic optimisation is an essential component of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program. Learn about the crucial role you can play in optimising haemodynamics through a day of lectures, group discussions on the aspects of protocol design and applying this knowledge to simulation scenarios with minimally-invasive cardiac output monitors.
